Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026: A 14-Day Spiritual Overland Journey
There are journeys that move you through landscapes, and then there are journeys that move through you. The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is a pilgrimage revered across four faiths—Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon—set against the most awe-inspiring terrain on earth.
At Kora Holidays, we have perfected the Overland Kailash route from Kathmandu. Our 14-day yatra is designed as a spiritual passage where every logistical detail—from Tibet Travel Permits to oxygen support—is handled, leaving you free for prayer, reflection, and the profound silence of the Himalayas.
Why Embark on the Kailash Mansarovar Pilgrimage?
Mount Kailash (6,638 m) is the eternal abode of Lord Shiva and the seat of spiritual power. Unlike other peaks, no one climbs Kailash. Instead, pilgrims perform the Kailash Parikrama, a 52 km circuit crossing the sacred Dolma La Pass at 5,630 metres.
Complementing the mountain is Lake Mansarovar. Situated at 4,500 metres, a holy dip in its turquoise waters is believed to cleanse lifetimes of karma. Standing at its shores at dawn, with the reflection of Kailash shimmering on the surface, is a bucket-list experience for every seeker.
