Why Dubai is worth the trip

Dubai packs a lot into a short trip: the world's tallest building, giant malls, beaches, a creek full of wooden dhow boats and the desert just outside the city. Direct flights from Kathmandu take about 4.5 hours, and Indian and Nepali food is everywhere.

Best time to visit Dubai

November to March is the best time for Dubai: warm days around 25°C, cool evenings and good weather for the desert. April, May and October are hot. June to September is very hot, often over 40°C, but hotels are cheaper and most attractions are indoors.
