Our Sri Lanka packages start from NPR 55,000 per person, including flights from Kathmandu, hotels, transfers, sightseeing and the visa.

Do Nepali citizens need a visa for Sri Lanka?

Yes. You need a Sri Lanka ETA (electronic travel authorisation) before you fly. It is included in our packages, and our visa team applies for you.

Is there a direct flight from Kathmandu to Colombo?

Yes. SriLankan Airlines flies direct in about 3.5 hours, and there are one-stop options too. We book the best flight for your dates as part of the package.

When is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?

December to April for the west coast and hill country. May to September for the east coast.

How many days do I need in Sri Lanka?

Five days covers Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, a beach and Colombo. A week or more lets you add Sigiriya or the Maldives.

Are there Ramayana places to visit?

Yes. The Sita Amman Temple and the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple near Nuwara Eliya are linked to the Ramayana, and our 5-day tour visits both.

Is vegetarian food easy to find?

Yes. Sri Lankan rice and curry has many vegetable dishes, and Indian restaurants are common in Colombo and Kandy.

Can I combine Sri Lanka with the Maldives?

Yes. The Maldives is about an hour's flight away. Our honeymoon package spends four nights in each, and we also run Maldives-first tours.

Sri Lanka is a small island with a lot of variety: ancient temples and the sacred Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, cool tea country in the hills, wildlife, and long golden beaches. For Hindu travellers from Nepal, places linked to the Ramayana, such as the Sita Amman Temple, make it a special trip.

Best time to visit Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka has two monsoons, so one side of the island is usually dry. December to April is best for the west and south coasts (Bentota, Colombo) and the hill country. May to September is better for the east coast. Kandy and the tea country can be visited all year, with cool evenings in Nuwara Eliya.
