Trip Overview
Two honeymoons in one. You start with four nights in Sri Lanka, from the temples of Kandy and the cool tea hills of Nuwara Eliya to the beach at Bentota. Then you fly to the Maldives for four all-inclusive nights at an island resort.
All flights are included, from Kathmandu to Sri Lanka, on to the Maldives and back home, along with both visas and your resort transfers.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Our representative meets you at Colombo airport
- Drive to Kandy, visiting the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the way
- Evening free
- Visit the Temple of the Tooth and take a short Kandy city tour
- Drive into the hill country, stopping at waterfalls and tea gardens
- Enjoy the cool morning in the hills, then drive down to Bentota on the coast
- Evening walk on the beach
- Free morning at the beach, or an optional river safari
- Drive to Colombo for a short city tour and shopping
- Fly from Colombo to Malé
- Speedboat or seaplane to your island resort
- Snorkel, swim, relax on the beach or book a spa
- A candlelit dinner on the beach can be added
- Water sports, sunsets and the resort's pools and restaurants
- A last full day in the Maldives together
- Breakfast and transfer to Malé airport for your flight home to Kathmandu
