Trip Overview
Zhangjiajie is famous for thousands of tall stone pillars rising from the forest, the scenery that inspired the floating mountains in the film Avatar.
You ride the Bailong glass lift up the cliff, walk the viewpoints of Yuanjiajie and Tianzi Mountain, and take one of the world's longest cable cars to Tianmen Mountain and its glass skywalk. Your China visa is included.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
- Pickup at Zhangjiajie airport and transfer to your hotel
- Evening at the local night market
- Ride the Bailong glass lift and walk the Yuanjiajie viewpoints, including Hallelujah Mountain and the First Bridge Under Heaven
- Cable car up Tianzi Mountain for the view over the stone pillars, then walk along the Golden Whip Stream
- Ride the long cable car to Tianmen Mountain, walk the glass skywalk on the cliff, and see Heaven's Gate
- Free morning (the Grand Canyon glass bridge is optional), then transfer to the airport
